The short:
1. Saturn Vue's can not HANDLE the deer! Nor, evidently, can deer handle Vue's. We are now talking with the insurance company, specking out new (most likely severely used, but still driveable) vehicles, and have a freezer full of venison and A DEER HEAD with 6 point antlers. NOT KIDDING.
2. the girls LoVeD Mackinaw Island. Hors-ies!
3. the North Channel is beautiful, especially from the deck of a catamaran that is filled with our family.
4. I learned that the North Channel is rural, rugged, and raw. and Stunning. Go, if you get the chance.
Pictures to come, hopefully soon, and more stories. I apologize for the interruption, I really do enjoy posting, regardless of anyone is listening or not. However, I'm not quite important enough to hire a guest blogger, and I'm not stupid enough to announce on the internet that we will be gone from the house for 10 days, please take anything you'd like and leave the door closed when you leave. That would just be inviting issues, and we don't need that now!

i ditto deb! i keep checking to see if they're up. geesh, are you a busy, part-time working mom of two itty bitties with dogs and chickens and horses or something? and i almost forgot that demanding husband of yours :) and the search for a new car. ok, i'm tired looking at the list, please feel free to never post pictures.
