The last couple of weeks Keely has been warming up her smile. This is a warm-up smile - when she lets it go her whole face crinkles to the left and it reduces you to a puddle in your shoes. Really, she's that cute.
It's fairly impossible to get on camera though. I'm not that good.

So, to totally change the subject in no specific way, planning on decent (or at least warm) weather for an outdoor wedding reception wouldn't be an issue. Not so true this past weekend, but we didn't let it get us down. We still celebrated the wonderful union of Travis' stepsister and her fiance.
Congratulations, Jenny and Jon, we are SO HAPPY for you two. Welcome to the family, Jon!
The venue Jen chose for their reception was the fabulous stone pavilion located on a precious hilltop. Mainly, we visited with family that we hadn't seen in a while.
And ate, because what would a wedding reception be without food? Jen decorated the pavilion with stunning flower collages. The flowers were fresh from the farmers market that morning. Aren't they gorgeous?
The kids certainly didn't let the weather get 'em down. They played, and played hard. Elaina lent Adalynn her hat, isn't it precious? I may have to find her one like it.
We met the newest addition to the family: Orrin. He is too cute. You made a cute babe, Laura and Scott.
I had to share. So when Elaina was little little she was taught how to participate in 'cheers'. And thus would grab a bottle, come up to you, bang it, yell 'ChEeRs!' and take a "swig". Hilarious, cute, and all of the above. So here is her brother Griffin, playing with the keg. You make the conclusion, I'm just here to report the facts.
JUST KIDDING! I love these kids. Just thought it was cute. REPEAT: Their children do not normally play with alchohol. It was just a coincidence.

Sunday (SunDay!)
This is Jerilynn. Isn't she lovely? She is getting married to Jeff soon, and on Sunday we had a wedding shower for them. It was a family shower, which meant that with Travis and kids in tow, we drove in to Aunt Kathy's for socialization, presents, and dinner.
Interestingly, the received all kitchen supplies EXCEPT for some oddballs (i.e. us) that gave them a picture frame. Those wierdos. They must not have gotten the memo.
It was super good to see T's cousin, Kelly, and their twins, Hunter and Liam, who are about 1 month older than Adalynn. They are waaay cute, and getting so big!
Keely, as always, was way enthused with the situation as well. She's going to be such a partier, I'm a little worried we aren't going to be able to handle her.
